At the heart of the Vado is Turbo technology, an advanced integrated electric bike system that combines power, natural feel, anti-theft functions, training tips, and a full-function bike computer. The Turbo Full Power 2.0 motor senses the force you apply to the pedals and naturally quadruples it, making hills and long distances effortless. The system delivers smooth, seamless, and quiet amplification of your efforts up to 28 mph. Comfort and confidence are optimized through body position and handling design. An 80mm front suspension fork, higher volume tires, and a plush suspension seat post smooth harsh bumps throughout your ride. Powerful hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power, while larger tires deliver maximum traction for turning and stopping. The Vado features integrated security with an anti-theft lock built right into the bike. Disable the motor with a button press so no one can turn it on without your phone connected to the Specialized app or your personalized PIN. The battery locks in the bike or can be easily removed and taken with you. If anyone tries to move your bike, an alarm will sound. The MasterMind display reveals all relevant ride information and allows real-time tuning of support levels. It seamlessly integrates with the Specialized app for range optimization tools, advanced tuning, on-ride diagnostics, and more. The 710Wh battery provides up to 90 miles of range or 6.5 hours on a single charge in eco mode. The Vado comes equipped with DRYTECH fenders, LED front and rear lights, and a 27kg capacity rear HD rack compatible with child bike seats. The bike is also rated to pull a thru-axle trailer.
