Bloomington Micro

Description

The Bloomington Micro starts at the Navajo Trailhead and should be used if you plan on riding up the Poppy Trail. The trail is similar to the Bear Claw Poppy, only that it runs off to the West and follows a wash bed to get you to Clavicle Hill. A great little section of trail for making a loop out of the Bear Claw Poppy.

Getting there...

From St. George, head South on I-15. Take the Bloomington Exit 4. Go around the round-about and continue South on Pioneer Road. Turn right on Man O War. Turn right on Bloomington Dr and then right on Navajo Dr. The trail head is at the end of Navajo where the pavement ends.

Riding the trail...

From the trail head, head up the single track and around the fence. Follow the trail and take the route that parallels the fence until you see the Micro Loop sign. From here follow the trails toward the wash. Once in the wash you just ride up the trail to Clavicle Hill. Once at Clavicle, you can either head toward Stucki Spring or up to the Bear Claw Poppy.
