Guacamole is Gooseberry Mesa's little brother. There isn't quite as much riding and the majority of it is a little easier than what you find on the Goose. All in all, it's white sandstone slickrock with amazing views. Definitely worth the trip.

Getting there...

From St. George, head north on I-15 and take the Hurricane Exit 16. Follow Highway 9 into Hurricane where it becomes State Street. Follow State Street as it goes through town and then makes a left at the base of the mesa. Follow the signs to Zion National Park and make a right at the Maverick to head up the mesa. Stay on 9 through Virgin and then watch for the Dalton Wash sign. Turn left onto Dalton Wash and zero your odometer.

1.8 Miles go left as indicated by the sign.

3.4 Miles stay right and head up the mesa
