Oak Grove is a campground that sits at the base of Pine Valley Mountain. It is high enough for Ponderosa Pines to grow and the temperatures are much cooler than they are in St. George. Leeds Creek runs year round as well, providing a reliable water source.
From Red Rock Bicycle head North to Tabernacle and turn right. Follow Tabernacle to 1000 East and turn left. Climb 1000 East and turn right on Highland Drive. Then turn left on Industrial Drive. Watch for the octogonal building and turn left onto Red Rock Road. Climb up them mesa and turn left on Cottonwood Springs Road aka Turkey Farm Road. Stay on this road as it turns to dirt and begins to climb to the base of the mountain. The road will continue all the way around the base of the mountain until it begins to drop toward Silver Reef. There is a Y in the road and you need to go left onto FR 032 which will take you the last 6 miles and 2000 feet of climbing up to Oak Grove Campground.
