Precipice to Sidewinder
0 Reviews

The Precipice is a short section of trail that runs along the side of the mesa ridge for the Barrel Roll. It connects in to Sidewinder which climbs up the mesa and then does a little lollipop loop.

Getting there...

In St. George, head North on Bluff Street. Turn left onto Sunset BLVD and follow it into Santa Clara. Turn left onto Gates Lane just before the Jacob Hamblin Home. Take the first left up a steep dirt road. Then follow the signs to the trail head.

Riding the trail...

Head out on the single track. Almost immediately you will see a fork with a trail head off on your left. This is Precipice. Follow this trail as it takes you around the mesa on the ridge. You will come to a fork, go left (the right will take you to Barrel Roll). This is Sidewinder and will climb up the mesa. Once at the top, there is a small loop. We recommend going right. You will also see a turn off of this loop for another trail that is currently under construction, check it out if you are feeling adventurous, it\'s known as Suicidal Tendencies and has some gnarly moves. Once done with the small loop, just follow the trail back to your car.
