A stop in the Intermountain Cup Series, The Battle at Three Peaks course is 7 miles of pure exhilaration. You’ll face hard packed dirt, wooden bridges, hill climbs, and fun descents. Conquer them and rocket through steep downhill sections. Unlock the puzzle of the technical bits, navigate the sierra-tilted geological formations, and stay ahead of your competition! The race loop climbs up to the ridge line and then dives back down. The terrain is challenging and includes sand, rock, boulders, and dirt, with plenty of climbing and downhill too.
Iron County and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) have teamed up in a cooperative effort to develop and maintain the 6,500 acre Three Peaks Recreational Complex. The Iron County portion of Three Peaks is great for group gatherings, mountain biking, picnicking, camping for large groups as well as individuals, and the shooting range. Two pavilions with fire grills in the picnicking area are available for reservations. Also available within this complex managed by BLM are OHV/ATV trails, mountain bike trails, a radio control flying field, and an equestrian area.
